James Rhodes BSc (Hons), MSc
James has recently completed a masters degree in Sport Science at Chester University, specialising in Biomechanics and Performance Analysis, and previously graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Edgehill University in September 2010.
James is soon to receive level 4 ISPAS (International society of performance analysis in sport) accreditation and hopes to advance to a higher level in the near future. He has delivered biomechanical and performance analysis services to a range of sports, both team and individuals. Examples of the sports he as previously worked with are:
Rugby Union
Boxing
Sprinting
Football
Cricket
James’ most recent work has come from an internship at the English Institute of Sport, delivering Performance Analysis assistance to the Great British Paralympic swimming team. This involved analysing various key indicators of swimming performance, various event progressions, and specific athlete progressions, all used to produce reports to provide in-depth feedback to the coaches and athletes.
James is currently DNA’s Performance Analyst at the University of Manchester.
