Strength:

Strength forms the cornerstone of most physical tasks, without the ability to produce force we cannot initiate movement on ourselves or others. Training for strength between 1970 and 1990 was regarded as an unsafe due to the forces involved and stress on the joints/soft-tissue. In recent times much research has been conducted within this area. After analysis strength training has been shown to be one of the safest activities anyone can do, regardless of age.
